Over a 48-hour period, participating teams will work to develop artificial intelligence prototypes from concept. The AITEX Summit addresses the challenge of distinguishing real progress from speculation by maintaining rigorous standards for participation and evaluation. Entry is limited to working IT professionals who are at least 18 years old and can demonstrate relevant education or several years of experience in fields such as AI, machine learning, software development, or data science.
Registration for the summit is free, with teams required to be finalized by October 25. Each team may include up to five members, and participants are limited to one team. Groups can be fully remote and consist of members from different countries. During the competition, teams must design and deliver original projects through the summit platform, creating prototypes within the official two-day timeframe and without reusing prior work.
Projects will be reviewed against clear and transparent criteria that consider both technical skill and broader impact. The judging panel for the Fall 2025 Summit comprises top professionals from more than ten countries, including AI specialists, software architects, UX leaders, entrepreneurs, and policy experts. These judges are vetted based on their demonstrated impact on the IT profession, substantial professional work, and recognized standing within the technology community.
The competition structure, with its compressed timeline, encourages teams to focus, prioritize, and present results quickly. This approach reflects real-world innovation, where deadlines are often tight and effective results are necessary. Participants will choose from four focus areas that cover both technical and social applications of AI.
Beyond the opportunity to test ideas against professional benchmarks, teams compete for three top prizes, certificates, and public recognition. Participation also offers exposure to a global network of peers, employers, and partners. The evaluation process by respected professionals can strengthen portfolios and provide feedback to refine projects, offering visibility and career growth for individuals.

While pre-event preparation like research is permitted, actual coding or design work for the project must only begin after the official start of the competition.
