Envista Holdings Corp., a dental products manufacturer, will move its headquarters from Brea to Irvine by 2028. The relocation is prompted by the planned demolition and redevelopment of its current Brea office. Envista, valued near $3.8 billion (NYSE: NVST), has signed three separate leases totaling more than 120,000 square feet at Lakeview Business Center.
The Lakeview Business Center, owned by Newport Beach-based Irvine Company, is located near the Bass Pro Shops store in the Irvine Spectrum. Envista’s new headquarters will span three adjacent buildings at 100 Technology Drive and 15360 and 15370 Barranca Parkway. One of these buildings, at 100 Technology Drive, was previously occupied by Bollinger Innovations, which moved out in December of last year.
The decision to move follows the sale of the 34-acre Beckman Coulter campus in Brea, where Envista’s 97,000-square-foot headquarters is located. Local developer Dwight Manley purchased the campus for $140 million in January. The site is slated for redevelopment into single-family homes and a Costco. Envista CFO Eric Hammes stated that the new headquarters is "an investment in our future and in our people," designed to foster collaboration and innovation.
This move represents the second-largest new office deal in Orange County this year, highlighting ongoing demand for substantial office campuses within Irvine. The company’s job postings for manufacturing and engineering positions indicate an expected relocation of its offices from Brea to Irvine in the first quarter of 2028.
Envista, spun out of Danaher Corp. in 2018, holds over 30 dental brands, including Ormco and Nobel Biocare. The company reported 537 local employees in August, making it the fourth-largest dental company in Orange County by headcount, with more than 12,000 employees companywide. In 2025, Envista reported an 8% increase in revenue to $3 billion. The company’s second-quarter earnings in August showed revenue of $731 million, surpassing analyst expectations. CEO Paul Keel noted the dental market’s "characteristic resilience" amid stable patient demand.
Recently, Envista continued its investment in product innovation, launching two new products in the second quarter: the ZenSeal Pro, an all-in-one bioceramic endodontic sealer, and the DemiPro, a lightweight cordless curing light for restorative procedures. The move to Irvine consolidates a significant part of Envista's operations within the city, bringing an established dental products leader to the Irvine business community.
