Premier Workspaces, an Irvine-based coworking operator, has signed a 10-year lease for a significant new location within Irvine Towers. The company plans to open a 20,131-square-foot facility at 18200 Von Karman Avenue, an address situated within the Irvine Business Complex and near John Wayne Airport. This expansion, as reported by Orange County Business Journal, will establish a new hub for flexible office solutions in the city, reflecting a long-term commitment to the area.

The new facility is designed to offer a comprehensive range of workspace options. Plans include more than 80 furnished private offices, catering to individuals and businesses seeking immediate, ready-to-use office environments. In addition to private spaces, the center will provide dedicated meeting rooms for collaborative work and client presentations. Virtual office services will also be available, offering professional mailing addresses and administrative support for businesses that do not require a constant physical presence.

Premier Workspaces announced these plans on October 30, with the new Irvine Towers location anticipated to open its doors in winter 2027. The 20,131 square feet secured through the 10-year lease signifies a substantial investment in accommodating the sustained demand for coworking options within Irvine’s commercial landscape. This development will expand the company’s footprint considerably, particularly in a key business corridor of the city.

This new Irvine location will bring Premier Workspaces’ total portfolio in Orange County to 23 locations. The company, headquartered directly in Irvine, has steadily built its presence both regionally and nationally. Across the United States, Premier Workspaces operates nearly 90 locations, underscoring its broad reach in the flexible workspace market. The expansion in its home city reflects a continued strategy of growth in established business hubs.

Michael Pollack, Premier’s executive vice president of real estate, commented on the strategic importance of the site. He told Orange County Business Journal that Irvine Towers offers "the opportunity to create a substantial new location" in a market where the company has operated successfully for many years. This statement highlights Premier Workspaces’ confidence in the local economy and its established track record within the Irvine business environment, particularly in the vicinity of John Wayne Airport, a key commercial corridor.

The Irvine Towers expansion follows other recent growth initiatives by Premier Workspaces. Earlier this year, the company completed the opening of a 23,800-square-foot coworking center in Newport Beach. That facility is located within Lincoln Property Co.’s Redstone campus and took over space previously occupied by another coworking provider, WeWork. This pattern of expansion indicates an ongoing response to market demands for flexible office solutions.

The establishment of this new Premier Workspaces center at 18200 Von Karman Avenue will add a notable resource for residents and businesses seeking adaptable office space in Irvine. Its scheduled opening in winter 2027 will provide another option for the city’s evolving professional needs.
