Irvine is marking Burger Week with nine local restaurants firing up their grills to offer a range of specialty burgers. The event, which runs from September 20 to September 26, highlights the craft, creativity, and cultural significance of the American food staple. Residents will find a variety of patty and topping combinations available throughout the week across the city.

The offerings during Burger Week extend beyond traditional beef burgers. Participating establishments are presenting diverse options, including chicken, turkey, and mushroom-based patties. Plant-based creations are also featured, providing alternatives for various dietary preferences. Most menus offered during the week are priced between $10 and $35, giving diners a spectrum of choices from more casual selections to elaborate meals.

A new development for this year's Burger Week, introduced by event producer OC Restaurant Association, includes luxury burger pairings. These pairings aim to push the boundaries of conventional burger offerings. Additionally, the OC Restaurant Association has emphasized the inclusion of vegetarian and vegan menus, expanding the scope of choices for attendees interested in plant-forward dining options.

Nine Irvine restaurants are participating in the week-long culinary celebration. Bopomofo Cafe, located at Alton Square, is among the establishments taking part. The Cut, situated in Westpark Plaza, is also featuring special burger creations. Eureka!, found at University Center, has joined the event, as has Left Coast Brewing Co. at Sand Canyon Plaza. Sessions West Coast Deli, located within Woodbridge Village Center, completes the list of individual restaurant participants across Irvine's villages and centers.

Four additional venues at Irvine Spectrum Center are also contributing to Burger Week. These include Dave & Buster’s, Georgia’s, and Paul Martin’s American Grill. The multi-venue entertainment complex Hijinx Hotel/Holey Moley Golf Club is also participating, offering its own unique burger selections for the event.

Among the specific offerings, several restaurants have highlighted unique menu items. Eureka! is featuring its "cult classic" Fresno Fig burger, priced at $10. This offering provides a distinct flavor profile for patrons. Sessions West Coast Deli is presenting an elaborate West Coast bacon cheeseburger, which comes served with Peruvian tater tots, available for $20.

The Cut is offering a more comprehensive meal option for $35. This complete meal includes a choice of beverage, either a blueberry-lavender lemonade or a Painkiller cocktail. Diners also receive a starter along with their burger. For the main course, guests can choose between The Cut’s Marrow & Raclette burger or their Dry-Aged Royale burger, offering a higher-end experience.

Intriguing options are also available at Hijinx Hotel/Holey Moley Golf Club. Their menu includes a Banh Mi Burger, priced at $20, which suggests an Asian-inspired take on the traditional burger. For those seeking a substantial challenge, Hijinx Hotel/Holey Moley Golf Club is also offering a 5-pound Giant Burger, which is listed at $90, presenting a notable option for the week.
